Well I have to tell you all that yesterday was awesome. We slept well and napped good...Madeline sleeps very well. We went to do all our paperwork yesterday and that was so good to get out of the way.
You know, God knows what we need when we need it. Yesterday when we went into the lobby we saw another couple with a Chinese baby and we spoke to them and the were from New England. This was their second trip and they were actually 2 doors down from us in the hotel. We met with them last night and had some great talks.
It was really nice to meet someone who was going through what we were. He had a personality like mine. The have 5 kids 2 that are adopted from china. We are going to breakfast with them this morning (right now it is Tues 4:55 am).
Today we are going to visit the orphanage and go to a park. I am not sure how our reactions will be. I am sure it will break us down.
Madeline like here mommy...Shannon went out of the room last night to get something and Madeline got upset and cried reaching to the closed door saying "mama"....that was huge

So glad to see more pictures. Each time new pictures come out, it looks like y'all are really adjusting more and more. Jay, glad to see that you cleaned yourself up. Everything feels better and we are happier when we are clean. Madeline just looks like she belongs with y'all. So sweet to see her little face smiling and loving on her mommy and daddy. I know that those moments together with her are priceless. My heart swells for all of you. The girls keep asking me to check your blog for more about Madeline. They loved her bubble bath picture. I just got home from the hospital and was hoping there was more info on you on my computer. I look forward to your news daily and love hearing of the new experiences with Madeline in China. My heart is full and I can't imagine all you are feeling in your hearts. Mommy already...I knew she would feel at home quickly. I know you are aching for your other 3 and my heart goes out to you. Just know God is watching over all of you, just where you are.

I love to check here each morning and evening and see how great things are going. I am glad that ya'll have settled in and Madeline just seems to get cuter and cuter each time a new picture is posted. I also love reading about how she is responding to you both and that a great bond is being formed between the three of you. Sounds like the trip has improved alot since you started a couple of days ago and I pray that it continues to get better. Lots of people here love you and your family and are praying for you all. Jay I have a hard time believing someone else in this world has a personally like yours.That couple must be sent by God for sure.Just so yall know John is having a hard time with his buddy Jay gone.Please pray for him.Ha ha. The emotions are so evident in your pictures and your blogs. One minute, I'm laughing at Jay's comments, and the next minute, I want to cry tears of joy at the remarkable bond the 3 of you have developed in such a short time. It may have something to do w/ my erratic hormones right now, but I'm pretty sure it has more to do w/ God's awesome work in ya'lls life. Ya'll are such an inspiration!
