This is the week!!!

It is hard for me to describe the feeling. It is Monday and we are leaving Friday to go and get our daughter Madeline. I am excited and scared. God has done so many things to bless me and I know my children are one of my greatest blessings. The main thing I am anxious about is leaving the kids, Hannah, Hayden and Camden for 2 weeks. I know it will be so hard for Shannon but God will give us His comfort and peace. Neither of us have been out of the country before so we are so new to all of this.

When we get to China we will have a guide with us the whole time so that will be great. We look forward to seeing her at the end of this week.

Travel Approval Arrived

Right now we are scheduled to leave for China on July 4th. We are so excited!!! We will be with Madeline in 3 weeks. Updates to follow.

Our Journey to Madeline

For those of you who are just joining our journey we will catch you up to speed...

About 18 months ago God laid it on Shannon's heart to adopt a little girl from China.

She prayed that Jay would also have a heart for oprhans in foreign countries and slowly God changed Jay's heart.

So we started our Journey to Madeline.

We started our long and tedious process of going through all the red tape of International adoption from China.

Through all the waiting we are now at the point where we are getting our Visas for China and we should be traveling in about 3-5 weeks.

From here we will update you on the process of of our 2 week journey to the different parts of China.
